Contrary to recent rumors that their seven-year marriage may be experiencing troubled waters, Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas looked very much in love over the past weekend when they hosted a celebrity golf tournament in California.
Catherine and Michael, who have two children together, “held hands and shared a kiss in front of the cameras,” according to Hello! magazine reports. “Their united front appears to be a firm statement about the state of their relationship, which has come under scrutiny of late amid reports that they’ve been experiencing problems,” Hello sources added.
Celebrities gracing the Hollywood super-couple at the Rancho Palos Verdes, California, sports benefit included Mark Wahlberg, Heather Locklear, Samuel L Jackson and Angel Cheryl Ladd.
Out of the spotlight as of late, Zeta-Jones continues to search for the right role, having recently shown interest in ‘No Reservations’ with Aaron Eckhart. On the other hand, Douglas has “largely retired from movie-making. These days, the self-confessed house husband prefers to spend his time at the couple’s home on Bermuda where he works on improving his golf handicap.”
