It seems there are award shows for everything these days. One such show honors achievement in the designer fragrance realm; the FiFi Awards. Paula Abdul graced the stage for this year’s event, and it wasn’t pretty.
First of all, the “Forever Your Girl” singer showed up 30 minutes late. She was scheduled to open the evening with a monologue, and therefore the event couldn’t begin until she arrived.
"They had to delay the show for her to get there, and it was almost impossible to understand her . . . her eyes were half open,” said an event worker. “She had to have two guys help her to her seat after she left the stage.”
In addition to her late start, the American Idol judge was in her own little world when she graced the FiFi Awards with her presence. According to the event source, “she was so completely out of it,” that people were worried that she was inebriated.
Her unusual behavior is par for the course these days. Abdul has been exhibiting some bizarre behavior wherever she goes. According to Page Six, she had a serious meltdown during a conference call with her former publicist Howard Bragman.
“I don’t understand how this man can call me a whining b****. I’ve never in my life been called a whining b**** and a loser.” She went on, “I’ve never been treated this way and I’ve never seen anybody treated this way. This is just too much to stomach.”
