She has one of the most memorable songs of the summer of 2008, and Katy Perry is reveling in the spoils of her success.
The “I Kissed a Girl” songstress was invited to the Howard Stern show (imagine that!) yesterday (August 21) for an interview, and as she left, several fans stopped her to get an autograph.
As for her massive hit song, Perry said she was inspired to pen the lyrics when she opened up a magazine and saw a picture of “Lost In Translation” actress Scarlett Johansson.
Katy confessed, “I was with my boyfriend at the time, and I said
to him, ‘I’m not going to lie: If Scarlett Johansson walked into the room and wanted to make out with me, I would make out with her. I hope you’re okay with that?’”And Miss Perry isn’t the only celeb to have a crush on Miss Johansson - Gossip Girl stud Ed Westwick as well as rapper Kanye West have both voiced their admiration for Ryan Reynolds’ fiancé.
