Wearing a warm hooded jacket, Corinne Bailey Rae was spotted out for the first time since her husband Jason Rae passed away unexpectedly this past weekend.
As a tribute, the Grammy Award winning singer laid flowers and heather at a 32ft memorial cross on the moors near her home in Otley, West Yorkshire.
Corinne, 29, was devastated when Jason, 31, was found dead at his friend’s flat. A pathologist’s report has pointed to an overdose, but further tests are said to be needed.
Meanwhile, Rae’s manager, Bob Miller, has said she had been “touched” by the support that has been shown to her following his death. Miller said that the “love and support” from “all over the world” was helping Bailey Rae cope at “this terrible time”.
