Back in May, his rep confirmed that he was going to be a father, and this morning at 8:08 am (on 08/08/08), Clay Aiken welcomed a baby boy.
Though they’re not romantically involved, the American Idol stud and his babymamma Jaymes Foster conceived Parker Foster Aiken (who weighted 6 lbs 2oz) by means of artificial insemination.
Clay’s mom told press that Parker has “dark hair” and that her son is “smiling from ear-to-ear about the news.”
Aiken met Jaymes, a record producer, during his time on American Idol. Since then, the two have become “best friends” and have worked together on several projects.
