Wearing a sexy sleeveless babydoll dress, Gwyneth Paltrow played the role of co-host at “The Mane Event” to benefit Amaryllis Farm Equine Rescue in New York on Saturday (August 9).
Sharing the emcee duties with world-renowned photographer Steven Klein, the Academy Award-winning actress has long been helping the Hamptons based group with their goal of saving horses.
Meanwhile, the 35-year-old “Shakespeare In Love” sweetheart has also been busy trying to bolster overseas support for US Presidential candidate Barack Obama.
Paltrow, who lives in London with her Coldplay frontman husband Chris Martin, appears in “a public service ad with ex-patriots to stress the ease of voting from abroad.”
“Start now - right now, I’ll be voting from London, but you can vote from anywhere. If you live abroad, you’ve got to do it, every single vote will count,” Paltrow tells. “Where on earth will you vote? Vote Democrat. Vote Obama. Vote from abroad.”
