Charlie Sheen and his real estate investor wife, Brooke Mueller, aren’t wasting any time with starting a family - as the couple announced today that they are expecting their first child together.
“Brooke and I are thrilled! She’s the best stepmom Sam, Lola and Cassandra could ever hope for,” Sheen, 42, says, referring to his daughters Sam, 4, and Lola, 2 (with ex-wife Denise Richards), and Cassandra, 23 (with ex-girlfriend Paula Profitt).
The “Major League” actor adds: “Seeing her love and affection with those three, I know she’ll be an amazing mom. Unless I bat 100%, perhaps a boy awaits us.”
Sheen and Mueller tied the knot last year (May 30) in a quaint wedding ceremony in Beverly Hills, in front of 60 friends and family members. The nuptials came after Sheen proposed with a $500,000 custom-designed 11-carat yellow diamond and platinum ring from jeweler Lord Alon Barak.
The news of the pregnancy came as a surprise, seeing as how the couple declined the fact that they were expecting back in June. Sheen told press: “Doesn’t mean it’s not part of the plan. It’s just not happening as we speak.”
