As if there wasn’t enough pressure on women to look fit already, Jennifer Garner is trying to stay in shape while continually growing due to her pregnancy.

But the “Alias” babe isn’t taking it lying down - she was spotted out at a Los Angeles, California gym yesterday (September 11) doing her darndest to stay svelte.

Looking cute in an all-black workout ensemble, Garner was so exhausted from her regimen that she actually jumped into her car’s passenger side and slid over to the driver’s seat rather than walk all the way around the car.

And in the new Forbes’ Most Overpaid Actors list, Jennifer has come in at #2 (behind Nicole Kidman, and ahead of Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz) due to the fact that her movies have only garnered (nice wordplay!) $3.60 for every $1 she was paid.

Ashlee Simpson: Baby Check-Up

As her due date looms nearer, Ashlee Simpson is making all the right moves and taking all the right precautions to insure that she has a healthy and happy baby.

The “Little Miss Obsessive” songstress was spotted out and about in Century City, California paying a visit to her doctor at the Century City Medical Plaza.

Following her successful check-up, Simpson headed over to see her husband Pete Wentz, aka “Vlad the Baker,” as he passed out promo t-shirts as well as cupcakes and doughnuts. And with the Fall Out Boy’s sense of humor, the new baby is sure to have a crazy-fun dad.

Speaking of the baby, as previously reported by the Gossip Girls, Wentz recently denied rumors of twins, and also revealed that they’re expecting a boy. “We know with 90 per cent accuracy that it’s a boy, and our due date is around Thanksgiving.”

Kanye West Heads to Hawaii Following Arrest

Following his airport arrest, Kanye West was spotted arriving in Hawaii yesterday, ready to work on his new album.

The “Gold Digger” rapper looked ambitious as he emerged from his private plane with his laptop already open and ready to record a few tracks. Though it’s summer in the Island State, West seemed to be cold, sporting a hoodie, t-shirt, and baggy jeans.

As previously reported by Gossip Girls, Kanye faced a serious delay in his schedule when he was arrested for damaging a paparazzo’s $10,000 camera.

Both West and his manager were detained temporarily at LAX International Airport following the altercation with the shutterbug.

Cameron Diaz: Gym Rat

She certainly maintains a very active lifestyle, and yesterday Cameron Diaz was all about getting in a good workout with her hunky personal trainer.

The “Charlie’s Angels” babe was spotted arriving at her gym in Beverly Hills, California, looking cute with her hair pulled back, sporting a blue and white striped top with a pair of jeans.

And while Miss Diaz has topped the list of highest paid actresses in Hollywood, Forbes’ new list of Hollywood’s most overpaid actors has her at #4 (behind Nicole Kidman, Jennifer Garner, and Tom Cruise).

“The highest paid actress in Hollywood, Diaz pulled in $50 million last year. But her high salary makes it hard for the romantic comedies she stars in to earn a good return. Heidi Klum Talks Project Runway Season Six

Whether she’s on a fashion show runway or the streets of New York City, Heidi Klum commands the attention of those around her.

And yesterday, the German supermodel was stopping traffic in the Big Apple as she emerged from her chauffeured car, on her way to a meeting at a nearby office building.

Sporting a very stylish ensemble, including a grey scoopneck top underneath a matching grey suit jacket and uniform-style shorts, and a pair of purple heels, the “Project Runway” babe gave the paparazzi a few quick glances before going on her way.

Speaking of “Project Runway,” Klum recently told press that the fashion design reality show will be receiving some upgrades as it heads into its sixth season.

“They’re going to get much better sewing machines and things like that. A lot of times they were always complaining about how bad the equipment was because they were in a real school. But we have some really killer, stellar new things for them so they can’t be complaining about that anymore.”

And given the show’s move from New York to LA, Heidi says they’ll have more room to grow. “The look will change. The set will change a little bit. It will be a little bit bigger because we have more space.”

As for the latest drama on “The Hills,” Audrina has posted a blog telling all about it. She wrote, “I’m so glad Lauren (Conrad) and I had that talk. As for her own healing, Hogan says that her friends have made all the difference in the world. “I just have to constantly surround myself with friends — you don’t need drugs to get through the hard times when you have people that make you laugh. The 2008 Mercedes Benz New York Fashion Week has been nothing short of amazing so far, and for fashionistas like Victoria Beckham, it’s almost like a week-long holiday.

The Spice Girl was spotted at Andre Leon Talley’s toast honoring Jennifer Hudson for her upcoming debut album last night, and she was looking fine.

Sporting a retro-chic black dress and her new cropped coif, Victoria meandered around the party, mingling like a seasoned pro.

As for her new line of dresses, Beckham says the collection is a culmination of her designing dreams. “I’ve been working on this for 34 years. I always wanted to be a fashion designer. Then along came the Spice Girls which opened a lot of doors for me. And, let’s be honest, closed a lot.”

She continued, “But those days are over. I was never going to be the world’s best singer, but I hope I can be a good designer.”

She’s well on her way to superstardom here in the States. And yesterday Demi Lovato proved that she even has international appeal.

The “Get Back” songstress was spotted hanging out with fans outside her downtown hotel yesterday (September 9), taking pictures and signing autographs.

She’s had one of the most controversial hits in recent memory, and Katy Perry claims that her song “I Kissed a Girl” comes from true-life experience.

At a 2008 MTV Video Music Awards pre-party last Saturday, Miss Perry told FOX Pop Tarts’ Hollie McKay, “I really did kiss a girl. It was one of those frat-type songs that was just fun. I don’t think people got the wrong idea — every girl kisses their friend at some point, right?”

Christina Aguilera and Jordan Bratman’s NYC Date Night

Following a big day of promotional work, Christina Aguilera and hubby Jordan Bratman spent the evening winding down with dinner out in New York City on Tuesday night (September 2).

Leaving their son Max home for the evening, the new parents were dressed-up in black as they headed over to Buddakhan restaurant for a relaxing bite to eat.

As previously reported by Gossip Girls, Christina made her way to the Big Apple for the Macy’s Herald Square launch of her new scent, Inspire.

Talking to ET, Aguilera tells that “the fragrance - much like her upcoming album - is modern and has a high-fashion twist. The scent has elements of fresia, gardenia and tuberose.”

When asked how everything’s going with her young son, Max, the 27-year-old replied: “He [Max] just lights up my whole world every day with his laughs and his smiles,” she gushed.

Tila Tequila and Courtenay Semel: Coco DeVille Divas

The always-entertaining Tila Tequila and her girlfriend Courtenay Semel were spotted making a bit of a scene as they exited the uber-trendy Coco DeVille night club last night.

As the paparazzi looked on, the “A Shot at Love” starlet busted a few moves on the sidewalk for her female lover before hopping into a car and speeding away.

Unfortunately, the scene wasn’t so festive last Wednesday when Semel ended up getting detained at the Caesar’s Palace security office for assaulting a hotel security guard.

According to FOX News, Courtenay forgot her cell phone while partying at Pure Nightclub, and when she returned at 4am to find the club closed, she “struck a hotel security guard in the back of the head” when he refused to re-open the facility.

Semel wasn’t arrested, nor will she face any jail time, but she will have to pay a fine.

Anne Hathaway Promotes “Rachel Getting Married”

She arrived in Italy for the big film festival on Tuesday, and earlier today (September 3) Anne Hathaway was spotted taking a water taxi to the Westin Excelsior hotel for the 2008 Venice Film Festival.

The 25-year-old “Princess Diaries” actress was then helped ashore as she readies for the premiere of her new movie, “Rachel Getting Married”.

In the film, which is competing at the festival for the festival’s prestigious Golden Lion Award, Anne plays “a young woman who has been in and out from rehab for the past 10 years returns home for the weekend for her sister’s wedding.”

Rosemarie DeWitt and Mather Zickel are among Anne’s co-stars in the Jonathan Demme directed drama, which has a release date of April 2, 2009.

Hayden Panettiere Drops By Dave Letterman

As she gets ready to kick off the new season of her hit show “Heroes,” Hayden Panettiere is all about getting out there and promoting.

Flying solo while her boyfriend Milo Ventimiglia is in Sydney, Austrailia, the “I Love You Beth Cooper” babe was spotted paying a visit to “The Late Show with David Letterman” yesterday (September 2).

“I will be doing a red carpet look that still reflects the simple classic design of the Lauren Conrad Collection but with a black tie twist,” LC told of her design plans.

Wearing a sexy little mini dress, Heidi Klum was out and about on Sunday afternoon (August 31) taking care of some much-needed errands.

The 35-year-old German supermodel first picked up the family’s groceries at Whole Foods Market in Beverly Hills. Afterwards, Heidi headed on over to Target to scoop up a few toys for her kiddies.

Meanwhile, Heidi’s good taste guru of “Project Runway,” Tim Gunn, has been vocal as of late on everything from Miley Cyrus and Katie Holmes to the current season of the hit fashion show.

Gunn told OK! magazine, “"[Miley Cyrus] is just a little too tarty, forgive me. I don’t want her to look like she’s going into a convent school, but it’s just a little too much for a 15-year-old. If I didn’t know better, I’d swear she was 25!”

Moving on to Katie Holmes, Gunn told: “She went from looking like a little farm girl to looking like European royalty. Now she needs to push back a little so that she doesn’t look too dowdy or old.” Considering all the teasing Katie Holmes receives from the public, we’re sure she’ll appreciate that Tim Gunn had some (mostly) kind words for her.

On what he consider s a frustrating season of “Project Runway,” Gunn said: “They keep walking around telling each other how great they are, and I keep saying to them, ‘Someone is gonna go home.’ “

They recently celebrated their love with a wedding ceremony, and Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi are loving the married life together.

The talk show queen and her “Arrested Development” sweetie were spotted taking a romantic walk along a Malibu beach yesterday (August 31), holding hands and smiling at each other.

Ellen sported a white Eric Clapton t-shirt and khaki cargo shorts while Portia opted for a dark grey tank top with light grey yoga pants and an urban hip cap with shades.

At one point, the newlywed ladies bumped onto Gavin Rossdale and his 2-year-old son Kingston with whom they chatted for a bit before moving on.

DeGeneres recently told press that marrying de Rossi made her feel like a million bucks. “What can I say? I’m the luckiest girl in the world. She’s officially off the market. No one else gets her. And now she’ll cook and clean for me.”

As for kids, she commented, “We go back and forth. I don’t know if it’s our immediate future. It’s something we talk about every few months. In a way, we want to be selfish because we love our life, but we know how much that adds to it. If they would be as pretty as Brad and Angelina’s kids, we might.”

Taking a break from her usual daily routine, Britney Spears was spotted enjoying some fun in the sun yesterday (August 31) at a Las Vegas pool, along with a few friends.Surrounded by bodyguards, the “Gimme More” songstress sipped icy cool drinks and puffed on cigarettes as she worked on her tan.

Later that evening, Miss Spears made her way through the Mirage Hotel and Casino, along with her entourage, to attend “The Beatles Cirque Du Soleil” performance.

And according to FOX Pop Tarts’ Hollie McKay, Brit Brit may have a surprise in store for the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards, coming up this September 7th at 9:00pm.

McKay reports that Spears will have her very own dressing room at the venue, sparking speculation that she may be on the card to do more than just hand out an award.

Kim Kardashian: Dancing With the Stars Derriere

Now that she’s done promoting her new film “Disaster Movie,” Kim Kardahsian is focusing on her upcoming Dancing with the Stars gig. And she was spotted looking sporty yesterday as she did some shopping at The Grove.

The “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” hottie sported a pair of tight spandex Capri shorts along with a matching sports bra and a black tank top as she valet parked her car.

The night before, Miss Karadashian tended to her love life with a romantic dinner date out with boyfriend Reggie Bush at the Crustacean Restaurant in Beverly Hills, California.

Kim looked casual-chic in a pair of shiny silver belted shorts teamed with a silver and beige tank top and a pair of massive heels.

As for the upcoming season of Dancing With the Stars, Kim told press that her outfits will get sexier the longer she lasts on the show.

“I’m [already] seeing a slight change [in my figure but] I realize that when I would try to work out really fast, that I would be burned out. I would work out for two days and then wait a few weeks and then workout for a few days again. I decided to stay focused and continuous and I started to see a major change. So, I think I’ll start to see a slow progress throughout the whole show.”

“Today the costume that I tried on wasn’t as crazy, [but] the better shape that I get into they will be a little more sexy and risqué. I’m starting off with maybe a ball gown, something a little bit more elegant and a little bit more covered up.”

Held at the Wharf Restaurant earlier today, the Sydney Theatre shindig announced the upcoming production of Tennessee Williams’ “A Streetcar Named Desire,” starring Blanchett and directed by Liv Ullmann.

Though its initial run will be in Australia, US audiences will also get a chance to see the production as it travels to the Brooklyn Academy of Music’s Harvey Theatre in New York City November 27-December 20th of 2009.

Jamie Lynn Spears: Out with Maddie Briann

Still getting adjusted to her teenage motherhood, Jamie-Lynn Spears was spotted out and about with her daughter Maddie Briann last Wednesday (August 27).

Joined by a hometown gal pal, the “Zoey 101” starlet toted her 10-week-old daughter around in a portable carseat as they grebbed lunch at a local McComb, Mississippi restaurant.
